The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our doctor's training, professional credentials and work experience.


William E. White III, DDS

Dr. White is a graduate of Michigan State University and Howard University School of Dentistry in Washington D.C. He is a member of American Dental Academy and the Academy of General Dentistry and is currently studying at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. This Institution allows for the highest standards in comprehensive studies, techniques, and technology through hands on continuing education in TMJ, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry.

Dr. White resides in Lake Orion and enjoys spending his time with his wife and two children. In his off time, he enjoys golf, skiing, traveling, cooking, and pretty much anything that deals with sports.

He looks forward to getting to know you and treating your whole family with all their dental needs.

Samuel M. Talmer, DDS

Dr. Samuel M. Talmer graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School and has practiced in Lake Orion from that time to the present. Dr. Talmer is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oakland County Dental Society, the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity and the Pinnacle Study Club of Oakland County. Dr. Talmer is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, which represents the completion of over 500 hours of continuing education over a ten year period and the completion of a written comprehensive six-hour examination in the various aspects of dentistry. Dr. Talmer truly enjoys helping our patient family to achieve and maintain good dental health.

Dr. Talmer and his wife, Ruth, enjoy golf, yoga, traveling, visiting the grandkids in Arizona, and tending to their Koi pond in their yard at home.


Ruth - Office Administrator

I graduated from Oakland University in 1975, earning a degree in psychology with a minor in gerontology. I have worked in the dental field since the late 1960s, and I enjoy helping people achieve great smiles! I have two children and two grandchildren, and I look forward to visiting the grandkids in Arizona. I enjoy hiking, golf, yoga, gardening and reading. 




Dawn - Insurance Coordinator / Office Administrator

As Insurance Coordinator, I will be helping you with scheduling, treatment plans, financial and insurance matters all with a friendly and helpful attitude to make your experience a pleasant one.




Brenda K. - Assistant

Brenda K. has served for over 34 years as a patient care coordinator and clinical assistant. She holds credentials as both a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) and Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). Over the course of her career, she has earned more than 3,000 dental Continuing Education credits .

Brenda also works as a team member with a military dental contractor, where she helps make sure our nation's troops are dental-ready for deployment.


Brenda C. - Assistant

I graduated from Mott Community College and became a Registered Dental Assistant over 30 years ago.  My husband Dan and I have been married 32 years and have two adult children. Colleen is in nursing school and is engaged.  Danny is also engaged and is in medical school. I enjoy taking my dogs for walks, gardening, and being with my family.




Liz - Assistant / Front Office

I attended Eastern Michigan University and I am married with two grown children. I started working here over 14 years ago as both a dental assistant and in the front office. One of the best things about working here are all the friendships I have formed with both my co-workers and patients.




Tina - RDH / RDA

Tina has over 25 years experience as an Assistant and Hygienist. Bringing with her a background in treating special needs children and adults. Tina also works part time as a clinical dental hygiene instructor at a local community college. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering in the community, attending continuing education classes and traveling with her daughter.



Marsha - Hygienist

Marsha is a registered dental hygienist. She has worked in this practice for over 20 years. Marsha enjoys reading, volunteering, and spending time with her family and grand children.
